Move Expands Company’s Mission to Provide Comprehensive Land Management Metrics

CANBERRA, May 4, 2021 — The Mullion Group, a nature-based solutions analytics company, is thrilled to announce the hiring of Associate Professor Cris Brack as Chief Biometrician. The hiring expands the capabilities of FLINTpro’s flagship service, further increasing capacity in NBS analysis.

Prior to his new role, Dr. Brack served as Associate Professor in Forest Measurement and Modelling at the Australian National University, leading numerous research programs in applied statistics, data acquisition, modeling, and expert and decision support systems. He was also inaugural Chair and Professor of Forestry at the Waiariki Institute, and later Director of Research.

“Cris has decades-long experience working with industry and designing efficient sampling regimes, plant growth models, and research programs,” said FLINTPro CEO Rob Waterworth.

“His deep understanding of measurement issues and unique ability to explain them in simple terms gives us an incredible reach across the entire process of land monitoring. We’re pleased to have him bring this expertise to market with the FLINTPro team.”

“Achieving accurate samplings and measurements is often difficult, and using outdated methods produces results that are inconsistent, slow, and costly. In an effort to manage the measurement difficulties that come with a growing clientele, I am thrilled to announce the addition of Dr. Cris Brack.”

“The Mullion Group has assembled a world-class team of environmental scientists, software engineers, investors, and advisors,” said Dr. Cris Brack.

“I am particularly excited to build upon the established success of FLINTpro by bringing modern sampling and measurement methods to FLINTPro’s international clientele.”
